Medikamenten- und technische Hilfe für Menschen in ukrainischen Kriegsgebieten
Mehrfach sind Mitarbeiter der Kulturstiftung Sibirien mit dem PKW an die polnisch-ukrainische Grenze und nach Estland gefahren, um Hilfsgüter, vor allem Medikamente, an Hilfsorganisationen zu übergeben und Geflüchtete zurück nach Deutschland zu bringen. In Polen gab es in Kattowitz ein Treffen mit einem ukrainischen Kollegen, der sich entschied, aus seiner Feldforschungsregion in seine Heimatstadt bei Odessa zurückzukehren. Über ihn konnten wir dringend benötigte Medikamente an vor allem alte Menschen senden. Mit Geld und organisatorischer Hilfe haben wir einen Konvoi nach Odessa unterstützt, der dringend benötigte Medikamente im Wert von über 50.000 Euro an Krankenhäuser geliefert hat. Der Initiatorin dieses Konvois, der Sozialanthropologin Claudia Eggart sind wir sehr verbunden und werden mit ihr weiter zusammenarbeiten. Wir empfehlen ihren Text „Grassroot-level humanitarian aid and the paradoxes of logistics, regulation and geography in times of war”.
Im Anbetracht drohender Stromausfälle im kommenden Winter 2023/24 stellten wir bedürftigen Menschen technische Hilfe in Form von Akkumulatoren zur Verfügung.
Medical and technical support for people in Ukrainian war zones
Several times, associates of the Foundation for Siberian Cultures traveled by car to the Polish-Ukrainian border and to Estonia to hand over relief supplies, especially medicines, to aid organizations and to bring refugees back to Germany. In Poland, there was a meeting in Katowice, Poland, with a Ukrainian colleague who decided to return from his field research region to his hometown near Odessa. With him we were able to send urgently needed medicines to mainly elderly people. With money and organizational help, we supported a convoy to Odessa, which delivered urgently needed medicines worth more than 50,000 € to hospitals. We are very close to the initiator of this convoy, social anthropologist Claudia Eggart, and will continue to work with her. We recommend her text „Grassroot-level humanitarian aid and the paradoxes of logistics, regulation and geography in times of war”.
In view of the threat of power cuts in the coming winter of 2023/24, we provided people in need with technical assistance in the form of rechargeable batteries.

Несколько раз сотрудники Фонда культуры народов Сибири ездили на машине на польско-украинскую границу и в Эстонию, чтобы передать гуманитарные грузы, особенно лекарство, организациям помощи и перевести беженцев в Германию. В Польше в Катовице состоялась встреча с украинским коллегой, который решил вернуться из региона полевых исследований в свой родной город под Одессой. Через него мы смогли отправить срочно необходимые лекарства в основном пожилым людям. Мы помогали в финансовом плане транспорт лекарства и срочной гуманитарной помощи на сумму более 50 000 евро в больницы Одессы. Мы поддержали инициатора этой перевозки, социального антрополога Клаудией Эггарт, и будем продолжать поддерживать её. В связи с угрозой отключения электроэнергии предстоящей зимой 2023/24 года мы оказали нуждающимся техническую помощь в виде аккумуляторных батарей.
